1. Purpose: To provide information on CJT Military Reintegration Training
(AKA Ironhorse University 4th ID, Tropic Lightning Academy 25th ID (L), and Trooper Academy 1/41st Inf. Bn Task Force)

2. Facts:

a. CJT Military Reintegration Training (MRT) is psycho-educational training satisfying the DA 2002 Deployment Cycle Support Contingency Plan (DCS CONPLAN) Phase 3 subject areas. The objective of this training is to assist soldiers returning from combat to reintegrate back into garrison life and home and family.

b. Training consists of eight courses totaling 6 to 8.5 hours for each soldier as appropriate to personal demographics (married, married with children, single, single parent or in divorce).

c. Recommended training sites are the Post Education Center, for daytime classes and the Post Religious Education Center, for classes offered in the evenings. Other modern and up to date classrooms in conference centers, etc., could be used. Our equipment requirements are laptop computers (with DVD) and LCD projectors, with speakers.

d. Spouses are invited to attend all classes with their soldiers, but especially the Marriage Workshop, and Communication with Children classes. Child care should be provided for classes.

e. Recommend classes of 30 or fewer soldiers to maximize dialogue and group interaction, with spaces reserved for spouses.

f. Our trained instructors have Master's degree or above (or commensurate) primarily from human behavioral fields with significant experience/background in the military or military community.
