About CCRG
Calvin J. Turner, M.Ed., CRC, Founder and President
A retired, disabled military officer with 11 years of distinguished active duty service, Calvin’s interest and passion for those who wear the uniforms of our nation’s armed services is both personal and professional. Due to injuries sustained in a helicopter crash that killed ten in his command, Calvin was medically retired from the Army. These catastrophic events led him to complete a Master’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Texas, Austin, and to become a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. Calvin has provided professional counseling to veterans and active duty military members since 1994. It is Calvin’s vision, reflected throughout CCRG, to assist each client with great care in a spirit of the highest personal regard, helping each to achieve their independence, their full vocational potential, and to assist them during transitional periods in their personal and professional lives.
